Leah Bishop

Qualifications: Currently studying Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing

Leah has always been very interested in the medical and reproduction process of the animal industry, especially the equine species. Becoming a veterinary nurse at Marburg Veterinary Clinic has given her the opportunity to start her journey into the equine world of reproduction and health and wellbeing. Although Leah has such a strong passion for the equine species she also enjoys all aspects of small animal medical nursing.

Leah was introduced to the equine world at a young age with her parents being involved in two riding schools. She experienced many years of competition and training in the Quarter horse discipline of Western Pleasure. Due to taking such a liking to the quarter horse breed, Leah hopes to further her knowledge of equine reproduction and general equine nursing to be able to one day successfully start her own Quarter Horse stud.

During her free time you’ll find Leah spending time with her hubby revamping her new property or training her two ponies (Kingston and Millie) for future introduction to competitions such as dressage, hack and jumping. Her additional furkids are a bouncy dachshund named Frank and a cheeky kitty called Mohan.
